1. Superior Mixing Performance

The two counter-rotating shafts generate a powerful three-dimensional mixing action. The optimized arrangement and orientation of the mixing arms and paddles promote continuous rolling and circulation of aggregates, cement, water, and admixtures.

2. Heavy-Duty Ni-Hard Wear Protection

The mixing tank is protected by Ni-Hard cast iron wear liners, while the mixing blades are also manufactured from highly wear-resistant Ni-Hard material. This provides excellent resistance to abrasion from aggregates and significantly extends the service life of critical wear parts.

3. WHY USING NI-HARD?

The rigidity of NI-HARD material is identical through every section and layer, therefore, abrasion rates do not vary, as the plates begin to wear and subject to the rigidity of the aggregates used, the life expectancy of the Ni-Hard mixer wear parts, can reach a production capacity of up to 1,000,000 m³, depending on the mixer type and its volume.

4. UNIQUE PADDLE STRUCTURE

Twin-Shaft Mixer paddle structure has been specifically designed for strength and abrasion resistance. Each Pallet group has been reinforced against failure, and the structure, improves life expectancy. The design and quality of our mixer paddle structures, are market leading and the quality is often compared to many German products on the market today. The life expectancy of the mixing group, is equal to the abrasion proof liners and cast thickness of the mixer structure, therefore, the life expectancy of DKTEC equipment is more than often, in excess of many of our competitors. DKTEC Twin-Shaft mixers are capable of blending materials with particle sizes of up to 150mm in diameter. The paddle angle of 45° also means it can withstand higher loads, therefore it is capable of mixing zero slump , RCC mixes and all types of ready mixed mixtures.

5. UNIQUE BEARING AND SEAL DESIGN

The specially designed Bearing and Twin-Shaft Mixer seal group, of a number of metallic and polyurethane components. The bearings are place on the outside of the mixer in the specially designed housing, which prevents the ingress of cementitious grouts, if a seal failure should occur, therefore, with the correct routine maintenance, the life expectancy of each bearing can exceed 500,000 m³ of production. The Labyrinth seal structure, encapsulates the grease, provided by the automated greasing system, to create a seal, preventing the grout from penetrating the bearing.

6. PERFECT LUBRICATION SYSTEM

An automatic lubrication system supplies the required grease to the shaft seals at controlled intervals. This reduces manual maintenance requirements and helps maintain stable sealing performance during long-term operation.

7. IN RCC GRAIN SIZE MATTERS

Twin-Shaft Mixers normally work with particle size of approximately 50mm. However, in RCC applications twin-shaft mixers can mix aggregates up to 150mm in diameter.

8. MIXER TOP COVER

Dustproof mixer cover is equipped with wide maintenance hatch with safety switches, supported by industrial gas shocks for secure and easy access for maintenance. Several types for loading of materials and other controls are available.

9. WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

We offer water distribution pipe with distribution nozzles working by gravity by default. Several discharge types and sprayers, gravity or pressurized are available upon request according to the application.

10. MIXER DISCHARGE GATE

A hydraulic rotary discharge gate with position sensors is supplied as standard. Several options for twin discharge legs are available upon request.

11. HYDRAULIC DRIVE FOR DISCHARGE GATE

Discharge gate is driven by a hydraulic power pack, which ensures the full open and close. Manual operation with the help of a manual pump in case of an emergency is possible.

12. MAINTENANCE PLATFORM

All DKTEC Twin-Shaft mixers are supplied with a maintenance platform as a standard.

13. DISCHARGE CHUTE

A discharge chute can be supplied upon request with or without rubber chute.

14. MIXER MOISTURE PROBE

A microwave moisture sensor reading at 25 times per second and combined with on-board functionality such as signal processing, smoothing and averaging accurately measures the moisture content of material as it passes over the ceramic faceplate.

15. MIXER TEMPERATURE SENSOR

No matter what is the season, cold or hot, the purpose of this sensor is to ensure that the temperature of the mix is within acceptable levels.

16. SAFETY POWER TAKE-OFF KIT

For the safety of working environment we offer a wide range of safety power take-off kits for mixers and other parts

17. AUTOMATIC HIGH-PRESSURE WASHOUT SYSTEM

An optional mixer washout system with a 100-bar water pump and two rotating heads (10 nozzles) can be supplied upon request.

18. PRESSURIZED WATER DISTRIBUTION

We offer water distribution pipe with distribution nozzles working by gravity by default. Several discharge types and sprayers, gravity or pressurized are available upon request according to the application.

19. MIXER TOP FILTER

A separate filter or dust bag for mixer can be supplied upon request.

20. SOFT STARTERS

Soft starters for smooth start-up of the mixers are available upon request

21. TWIN-DISCHARGE

Two-way discharge can be supplied as an option to maximize the capacity of the plant and to ease the operation

22. MORE POWER

More powerful motors and gearboxes can be supplied according to the application, such as heavyweight cwith lead or iron ore, low slump and others.
